A great appetizer for your next party or cookout.
Ingredients
  • 1 pkg Georgia Best Brand Small Smoked Sausage
  • 1 refrigerated pie crust or favorite canned biscuits
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbs water
  • mustard
Instructions
  1. Open package of sausage and cut into 2" pieces
  2. Unfold softened pastry sheet or open canned biscuit dough on lightly floured surface. Roll dough out to a thin sheet, cut into 1 x 1.5" strips
  3. Wrap each piece of dough around each sausage piece, seal edges. Place seam-side down on ungreased cookie sheet. Combine egg and water, brush over dough.
  4. Bake 12-15 mins or until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes and serve.

Smoked Sausage and Rice

A mixture of sausage, broccoli cheese soup, peas and rice for an easy recipe everyone will enjoy.
Ingredients
  • 1 pkg Georgia Best Brand smoked sausage
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 can condensed broccoli cheese soup (10-3/4 ounces)
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 can sliced mushrooms, drained (4 ounces)(optional)
Instructions
  1. Cut sausage on an angle into ½" slices.
  2. Prepare rice according to package directions; keep warm.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat for 2 minutes; add sausage, onions and peppers. Cook, stirring frequently 5-6 minutes or until sausage is lightly browned and vegetables are tender. Add peas and cook 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally until peas are hot.
  4. Gently stir in cooked rice, soup, milk and mushrooms if desired; heat through.
