Ingredients
  • 2 cups long grain rice
  • 5 cups chicken stock, divided
  • 2 tbls vegetable oil
  • 1 lb Georgia Best Brand smoked pork sausage, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • ¼ tsp cayenne
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley leaves
  • kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
  1. Make the rice, in a medium saucepan combine the rice and chicken stock. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer until all the stock is absorbed into the rice, about 20 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile heat oil in a heavy-bottomed saute pan over medium-high heat. Brown the sausage. Once browned, add the garlic, onion, celery, and green bell pepper. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Add 1 cup chicken stock and cayenne. Cook until the stock has reduced a little. Add the cooked rice and parsley and stir thoroughly. Taste and season with salt and pepper, if needed.

Ingredients
  • 1 LB. Georgia Best Italian sausage links
  • 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
  • 14½ oz cans chicken broth or water
  • 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. basil leaves
  • 1 tsp. oregano leaves
  • 16 oz. pkg. Green Giant Frozen Pasta Accents with Garlic Seasoning
  • Grated fresh Parmesan cheese
Instructions
  1. Place sausage links in a large saucepan. Add eater to a depth of about ½ inch. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover; simmer 10 minutes or until sausage is partially cooked; drain.
  2. Slice sausage into ½ inch slices; return to saucepan. Add tomatoes, chicken broth (or water), tomato sauce, basil and oregano; blend well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Stir in Pasta Accents. Cover. Return to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 3 to 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp tender. Garnish with Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 4 cups distilled white vinegar
  • 10 drops red food coloring (optional)
  • 10 links Georgia Best Brands smoked beef sausage
Instructions
  1. In a large pot over medium-high heat, combine the water, salt, vinegar, and red food coloring. Bring to a boil. Cut the sausage links into halves or thirds, depending on the size, and place into a large sterile jar. Pour the hot vinegar mixture in with the sausage, secure the lid, and let stand 2 days before serving.
